The National Guard Association of Arkansas (NGAA) is pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2020, 5Star Life Insurance Company is the new underwriter for the group term insurance coverage provided by NGAA.
Previous underwritten coverage by LifeShield National Life Insurance Company transferred to 5Star Life Insurance Company on October 1, 2020. Claims prior to October 1, 2020 are the responsibility of LifeShield Life Insurance Company and claims incurred on or after that date are the responsibility of 5Star Life Insurance Company. Under no circumstances will benefits be payable under both LifeShield and 5Star policies for the same loss.
