Minuteman Youth Camp 2024

SUNDAY JULY 28TH – FRIDAY AUGUST 2ND

A maximum of 75 campers will be accepted this year. First priority will be given to children with parents or extended family in the Arkansas National Guard and other branches of the military. Camp is open to children ages 10-12. Camper must be at least age 10 before July 28, 2024 and not turn 13 before August 2, 2024. A child may only attend Minuteman Youth Camp ONCE.

SURVIVOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Arkansas National Guard Foundation (ANGF) through its endowment maintains funds to award annual scholarships to the primary next of kin, including parents, surviving spouses, (so long as they remain unmarried until the age 55), and children (under the age of 23) of Arkansas National Guard members who lose their lives during the term of their enlistment regardless of duty status or manner of death are eligible to apply for scholarships awarded by the ANGF Survivor Scholarship Program. Siblings of fallen service members eligible if there was a loco parent’s relationship.

FOUNDATION

The mission of the Arkansas National Guard Foundation is to provide charitable and educational support to the members of the Arkansas National Guard, veterans, and other charitable organizations that support veterans and their communities.

The Foundation remains the lead charity for the Arkansas National Guard while expanding its impact on the lives of Guard members, their dependents, and survivors and improving the overall readiness of Arkansas National Guard.

Since 1967, the Foundation and its predecessors have provided over $1.2 million in support of Guardsmen and their Families and Survivors.

These six areas, while broad in their scope and impact, all have one purpose in mind—providing support for Guardsmen and their families’ wellbeing. Whether it is a college scholarship for a dependent or emergency relief assistance for those struggling economically, Foundation’s aim is to support the needs of both currently serving and retired Guardsmen, their families, and their survivors.
