The Auxiliary

The purpose of the Auxiliary to the National Guard Association of Arkansas (ANGAA) is to provide dedicated support to the National Guard Association of Arkansas, promote fellowship and good will among the Auxiliary membership, and do charitable work that will strengthen the relationship between the Arkansas National Guard and the general public.

The ANGAA supports its members by becoming “your family within the Guard community”. If you have a question or need something, ANGAA is an important part of your resources. Your connection in the Auxiliary is one that lasts a lifetime. You begin by making a friendship that in time will become part of something much larger. It helps make you more a part of the Guard rather than just the spouse of a service member. You help make a difference through involvement in the charitable work accomplished by the organization.

The ANGAA is a non-profit organization

The ANGAA does not participate in any political campaign on behalf of or in opinion to a candidate for public office.

The membership of the Auxiliary shall be limited to the spouses of active/retired members in good standing of the National Guard Association of Arkansas and widows/widowers of deceased members (active/retired) who were in good standing.

Dues for membership in the ANGAA are $15.00 per year. Annual dues are payable at the NGAA annual general conference each year. A membership application can be obtained by contacting the Auxiliary. Dues for new memberships will be accepted at any time during the year.

Meetings will be held in the NGAA conference room, Building 8100, Camp Robinson, as listed below (meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.)

Meeting Schedule

Everyone is invited to join the Auxiliary for its annual Christmas Auction at 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011, in the GIB building, Camp Robinson. This fun event provides an opportunity to raise money to support a Guard family in need at Christmas time, the Camp Robinson Chapel, Minuteman Youth Camp, Arkansas National Guard Museum and other ANGAA activities. Bring items for the auction … fun things or items you would like to have around the house … hidden treasures are a plus! Chili will be the evening’s fare.
